At MEC, we understand the importance of Lean to our customers’ businesses. Employing Lean manufacturing processes reduces our customers’ inventory and business transaction costs. MEC’s goal is to continually reduce customer lead-time, required production floor space, and excess inventory. As a part of our commitment to Lean, we employ a full-time Continuous Improvement Manager. Our Lean manufacturing technologies and processes are based on the Toyota Production System and four principles known as the 4 Ps: Philosophy, Processes, People and Partners, and Problem Solving. The key to our approach is not any one element, but the synergistic relationship of all these elements working as a complete system.
