Programmable Fuel Monitoring Module Increases Control Capabilities, Safety

Situation: The customer needed a fuel tank monitor that would control multiple fuel pumps, interface to an engine, and run autonomously in an outdoor application.

Solution: MEC developed a monitor capable of monitoring various tank/fuel parameters (programmable based on tank style). It provided various alarms for safety-critical events, and used a serial communication system to control separate fuel pump controllers.

Results: The customer included the monitor on every new tank sold, and made the pump controllers available as an option.
